The Unicycle – To Build or not To Build

On my workbench is a unicycle, a dismantled unicycle missing some parts.

I would like to rebuild this, but the parts I need are probably going to be too expensive to buy new and still make the project worthwhile.

I need a 5 inch left crank and pedal and a seatpost and seat. I also need a 16×1.75 tyre and inner-tube, which I can probably find quite easily in my storeroom. All the other parts are on the bench.

I’m wondering whether to box it up and store it, in which case it may never be rebuilt, or to leave it on the bench in the hope that I can source the parts for it at virtually no cost.

What a dilemma! 🙂
